Linda Marie Andrus (Campbell)
Rayne—Funeral services for Linda Marie Campbell Andrus, 64, of Branch will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Pastor Jason Corder will officiate. Interment will follow in Methodist Cemetery, Branch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Andrus passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 2:50 A.M. in her Branch residence.
A lifelong resident of the Acadia Parish area, Mrs. Andrus will be greatly missed by her survivors, including her husband, Lawrence Andrus of Branch; daughter, Marlene Andrus of Branch; sisters, Lovenia Seaux and husband, Johnny of Crowley, and Mildred LaSalle and husband, Rodney of Kaplan; brothers, Michael Campbell, Donnie Campbell and wife, Priscilla of Duson, Ray Campbell Sr and wife Mona of Rayne, David Campbell and wife, Linda of Duson, L.J. Campbell of Duson, Allen Campbell and wife, Kathy of Duson, and Alton Campbell and wife, Lisa of Rayne; grandchildren, Mia Campbell, Mandie Muir, Penny Campbell, Justin Muir, and Jody Andrus; great-grandchildren, Lillian Muir, Braylon Johnson, Kade Campbell, Ansley Campbell, Aubrey Campbell, and Lexie Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Andrus in death were her parents, Morris and Inez Dupuis Campbell; sons, Edgar Campbell and Terry Andrus; sister, Betty Campbell; and brother, Alvin Campbell.
Serving as pallbearers are Justin Muir, Josh Daigle, Ray Campbell, Allen Campbell, Derreck Andrus, and Ray Campbell, Jr.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Paramount Hospice, and to Dr. Rachel Roden for the compassionate care given to Mrs. Andrus throughout her illness.
