Michelle Olivier
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2:30 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Michelle Olivier, 48, who passed away at her home in Church Point on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:05 A.M.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Michelle was employed at Coburn’s of Opelousas for over thirty years.
Survivors include two daughters, Lindsey and Taylor Olivier both of Church Point; one son, Morgan Olivier of Church Point; two grandchildren, Blakeston and Lailynn “Tut”; her mother, Janice Olivier of Church Point; one sister, Dana Cary of Church Point; three brothers, Lance and Lindsay Olivier of Church Point; Damian Olivier and fiancee Brandy Thibodeaux of Church Point and Jude and Laura Olivier of Bossier City; several Godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Michelle was preceded in death by the father of her children, Joseph Nelson Elkins, Jr.; her father, Elray Olivier and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
