Obituary for Sybil Alleman

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Sybil G. Alleman, 88, who passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 9:43 P.M. at her home in Duson, La.
Bishop Emeritus Michael Jarrell will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Scott.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include her husband, of Seventy years, LeeRoy Alleman of Duson; three sons, Darrell and wife, Theresa Alleman of Scott, Pat and wife, Wendy Alleman of Duson and Carson and wife of Angie Alleman of Duson; two daughters, Bella Cloteaux of Lafayette and Eva and husband, Francis Touchet of Duson; one sister, Lernice Trahan of Duson; thirteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Alleman was preceded in death one daughter, Glenda Alleman Bex; one son, Ronald James Alleman; one grandson, Wayne Lee Alleman; one great-granddaughter, Tanya Weatherford; one son-in-law, Robert Cloteaux; her daughter-in-law, Priscilla B. Alleman; her parents, Clinton and Doristine Duplechin Guidry; four sisters, Mable Alleman, Theresa Bourque, Bernice Boudreaux, Annalee Richard; five brothers, Nelson Guidry, Olanda Guidry, Maurice Guidry, Anthony Guidry and Nonk Noon.
Pallbearers for the services will be Chad Alleman, Ronnie Bergeron, David Scott Touchet, Chase Alleman, Pat Alleman and Brock Carpenter. Honorary Pallbearers for the services will be Francis Touchet, Darrel Alleman and Carson Alleman.
