James Kermit Jagneaux
Church Point- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for James Kermit Jagneaux, 65, at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA with Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc as Celebrant. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel-Church Point, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, until 10:00PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery “New”. Mr. Jagneaux passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Mr. Jagneaux is survived by his children, Jason Jagneaux of Krotz Springs, LA, Erica Jagneaux Mires and her husband, Barry of Krotz Springs, LA, Kimberly Jagneaux of Krotz Springs, LA and Dustin Jagneaux of Krotz Springs, LA; ten grandchildren; brother, Gordon Hudson and his wife, Margie of Carencro, LA; sister, Cynthia Jagneaux Clark and her husband, Douglas of Church Point, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli Jagneaux and Viola Doucet Jagneaux and one son, Jerry Dale “Pa Jerry” Benoit.
Pallbearers will be Percy Doucet, James Lee Doucet, Robert Doucet, Kenneth Lyons, Richard Jagneaux and Peter Daigle.
