A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Theresa J. Garner, 71, who passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7:03 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include, three daughters, Ami Russell and Edward Moore of Broussard, Donna and husband, Larry Denais of Broussard, Deanne Brown of Crockett, TX; one son, David and wife, Michelle Russell of Sunset; one brother, Newman and wife, Ramona Jagneaux of Church Point; nine grandchildren, Alexis, Dylan, Gracey, Cody, Isaiah, Olivia, Jaidyn, Jordan and Michaiah.
Ms. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Mable H. Jagneaux.
