Crowley- A Mass of Christian will be celebrated for Willie Mae Cormier, 77, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Estherwood, LA with Rev. Gary Schexnayder as Celebrant. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel at 9:00 AM on Monday, April 17, 2017 until 10:00 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Estherwood Cemetery in Estherwood, LA. Mrs. Cormier passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home in Egan, LA.
Mrs. Cormier is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Willis A .Cormier of Egan, LA; children, Carolyn C. Fruge’ and her husband, Timothy of Carencro, LA, Albert Cormier of Egan, LA, Jeffery Cormier and his wife, Angela of Egan, LA, Bob Cormier and his wife, Jaime of Egan, LA, Tonya Cormier and her fiance Shayne of Egan, LA; grandchildren, Christopher Fruge’, Blake Cormier, Tim Fruge’, Kelly Richard, Monique Cormier, Bethany Cormier, Paige Soirez, Vicki Soirez, Lindsey Cormier, Paige Cormier, T-Bob Cormier, Leah Hebert and Zander Hebert; great grandchildren, Tristan Romero, Ethan Cormier, Rylie Richard, Abagail Cormier, Mckaylynn Fruge’, Isabelle Fruge’, Bently Richard, Sophie Fruge’, Juliette Fruge’, Gunner Myers, Alaya Trahan and Joseph Fruge’ as well as two loving sisters, Pearl and Eva.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli Pesson and Rosita Touchet; son, Steve Cormier; sister, Gladys Stoutes; brother, Eli Pesson, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Chris Fruge’, Blake Cormier, Tim Fruge’, T-Bob Cormier, Chris Dupuis and Kerry Richard.
