David Stephan Douet
Rayne- Funeral Services will be held for David S. Douet, 37, at 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home- Rayne Chapel with Pastor Clay Vance, Associate Pastor of Trinity Christian Center of Forest Hill, LA officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM,until 10:00 PM and will resume Thursday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson, LA. Mr. Douet passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Mr. Douet is survived by his wife, Shelly B. Douet of Duson, LA, children, Khyle Douet of Duson, LA, Devin Rogers of Rayne, LA and Ashten Douet, Emily Douet and Nathen Douet all of Duson, LA; father, Stephan Douet and his wife, Sandra Douet of Lafayette, LA; sisters, Mandy Soileaux and her husband, Brock of Rayne, LA and Amy Douet of Carencro, LA.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Marleen “Billie” Ann Douet; paternal grandparents, Louis Douet and Verina Douet; maternal grandparents, Alton Breaux and Louise Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Stephan Douet, Khyle Douet, Brock Soileaux, Jeremy Ryder, Thomas Douet and Matthew Doucet. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Rogers, Ashten Douet, Nathen Douet and Emily Douet.
