Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 1017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Irving J. Benoit, 77, who passed away, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 9:30 P.M. at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include four sons, Todd Thibodeaux of Scott, Timmy Thibodeaux of Scott, Steven Benoit of Arnaudville, and Bennett Vance Benoit of Rayne; one daughter, Joy and husband, Patrick Thibodeaux of Scott; two brothers and six sisters; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Benoit was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Lena B. Benoit, and two sisters.
