Obituary for Linick Joseph Boudreaux

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. at the St. John’s Catholic Chapel in Lewisburg for Linick J. Boudreaux, 84, who passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:23 A.M. in Church Point.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lewisburg will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of sixty plus years, Florine C. Boudreaux of Church Point; two daughters, Debra and husband, David Morrison of Church Point, Cheryl and husband, Thomas Landry of Church Point; three sons, Randal and wife, Caroline Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge, Dr. Bill and wife, Sheila Boudreaux of Church Point and Raleigh and wife, Stacy Boudreaux of Opelousas; twelve grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan, Ashton, Joe, Elijah, Hannah, Elizabeth, Caleb, Jeanne, Danielle, Kevin, and Brooke; seven great-grandchildren, Owen, Sawyer, Emery, Noah, John, Mary Kate and Finley.
Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacie Marie Boudreaux; his parents, Ursin and Edese S. Boudreaux; one brother, Ashby Boudreaux; two sisters, Sybil Boudreaux Leger and Sylvia Kimble.
