Obituary for
Ryan Zackery Richard
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Ryan Z. Richard, 31 who passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 3:05 P.M. in Eunice.
Fr. Mitchell Guidry, Pastor of Our Queen of all Saints Church will be officiating for
the services. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. until time of services on Thursday. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include his father, Charles Richard of Church Point; his mother, Sheila Carrier of Lafayette; his paternal grandmother, Lou Ann Vanicor of Church Point; his niece and nephew, Alex and Riley Higginbotham; and a host of Uncles and Aunts.
Ryan was preceded in death by two sisters, Keisha and Chasity Richard; his maternal grandparents, Paul Herbert and Odelia Carrier; his paternal grandfather, Lubert Richard.
Ryan was the owner of Unleashed Spa and Pet Grooming in Carencro. Ryan has been a pet groomer for nine plus years. He will be missed by all his furry babies and his loyal customers.
The family has requested that any monetary donations be made payable to Duhon Funeral Home and can be dropped off at the office or mailed to Duhon Funeral Home at P O Box 320, Church Point, La 70525.
