Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Joseph Wilson LeJeune, 69, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home, LLC- Crowley Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Broussard officiating. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home- Crowley Chapel on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM; with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM; until 9:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Estherwood Cemetery in Estherwood, LA. Mr. LeJeune passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 9:00 PM at his home in Iota, LA.
Mr. LeJeune is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Doris Reed LeJeune of Iota, LA; children, Sabrina Dugai and her husband, Robert of Iota, LA, Dillon LeJeune of Iota, LA; grandchildren, Breyona Dugai, Rylan McGlone and Hannah Lantier; sister, Elizabeth Bertrand of Crowley, LA; brothers, Hubert LeJeune of Paris, TX, Edward LeJeune and his wife, Jennifer of Annona, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Joseph LeJeune and Alice Sonnier LeJeune; brothers, Johnson LeJeune, Addley LeJeune and David LeJeune.
Pallbearers will be Dillon LeJeune, Richard McDaniel, Robert Dugai, Eric Bergeaux, Eddie LeJeune, Jr., Kevin Fuselier, Kurt Leger and Eugene Veillon. Honorary pallbearers will be, Edward LeJeune, Hubert LeJeune, Addley LeJeune, Jr. and Dess Guidroz.
