Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Luther “Mack” Benoit, 90, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Jim Hoffman officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Chapel , until 9:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Kie Hebert Cemetery in Rayne, LA. Mr. Benoit passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Acadia General Hospital.
Mr. Benoit is survived by his son, Terry Benoit , of Crowley, LA; granddaughter, Jenna McDaniel of Crowley, LA; great grandson, Cyrus McDaniel of Crowley, LA; sister-in-law, Diane Stafford of Crowley, LA; siblings, Charles Sarver, Hollins Sarver, Woodrow Sarver and Jeanette Dennies.
He was preceded In death by his wife, Mabel Benoit; parents, Stanville Benoit and Amelia Sarver; siblings, Buford Benoit, Ebert Benoit, Opal Ashby, May Stanish, Joyce Sarver and Ailene Daigle.
