Obituary for
Lennis Janius ""Boy"" Touchet Sr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Lennis “Boy” Touchet, Sr., 72, who passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 2:53 P.M. at the St. Joseph Carpenter House in Lafayette.
Deacon Tim LeDet, from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 6:30 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Prayer will be read by his son-in-law, Allen Picard following the Rosary. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of forty four years, Marie “Alice” Touchet of Scott; three daughters, Debbie Eddy of Breaux Bridge; Connie and husband, Curtis Brown of Scott, and Monica and husband, Jeremy Cormier, Sr. of Scott; four sons, Willie and wife, Tammy Eddy of Duson, Wayne and wife, Trudy Touchet of Sugarland, TX., Lennis Touchet, Jr. of Scott and Chad and wife, Donna Touchet of Scott; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous siblings.
Mr. Touchet was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Jessica Baudoin; one great-grandson, Maverick Doucet; his parents, Willis and Annie Touchet; his step mother, Bernadette Touchet.
Pallbearers for the services will be Willie Eddy, Wayne Touchet, Lennis Touchet, Jr., Chad Touchet, Jeremy Cormier, Sr. and Jeremy Cormier, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearer for the service will be Curtis Brown.
