A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Crowley for Gerald Mouton, 72, who passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 11:24 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Mikel Polson, Pastor of St. Michael’s Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, Donna B. Mouton of Crowley; one daughter, Charmaine and husband, Kevin Leger of Crowley; one son, Shane and wife, Suzanne Mouton of Crowley; six grandsons, Terrell and wife, Elizabeth Benton, Justin Mouton and companion, Emily Matiski, Cody Francis Hayes, Dakota “Cody” Leger, Brandon Mouton and Hunter Leger; two great-grandsons, Nicholas Benton and Logan Benton.
Mr. Mouton was preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Belize Mouton, Sr. and siblings.
