Obituary for
Wilson John Hargrave
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Wilson “John” Hargrave, 88, who passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1:42 A.M. at Kaplan Health Care Center in Kaplan.
Br. Gerard Morgan, Associate Pastor of Northside Assembly of God will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Hanks Cemetery in Morse, La.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca and husband, Davis Guidry of Kaplan; two sons, Bobby and wife, Susan Hargrave of Kaplan, Stanley and wife, Jill Hargrave of Crowley; two sisters, Dorothy Bruce of Texas and Rita Benoit of Rayne; one brother, Ray and wife, Eve Hargrave of Rayne; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hargrave was preceded in death by his parents, Eris and Theresa P. Hargrave; one daughter, Tanny Schexnider; two sister, Medola Guillot and Eula Mire; two brothers, Roland and William Hargrave.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Kaplan Health Care Center, Lamm Family Care Hospice and Dr. Faulk and his staff for all the care that they extended to Mr. Hargrave.
