Ethelene Callaway (Stelly)
Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ethelene Stelly Callaway, 87, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA with Fr. Albert Nunez as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church from 1:00 PM until just prior to the Mass time. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the church service and will be in St. Leo the Great Catholic Cemetery.
Ethelene lived most of her life in Port Barre, LA and spent the last seven years in Crowley, LA to be near her youngest daughter.
Mrs. Callaway is survived by her children, Earline Lanclos Murray (Thomas) of Covington, LA. Albert Ray Lanclos (Diane) of Port Barre, LA, Peggy Fuselier (Clyde) of Crowley, LA, Billy Badeaux of Port Barre, LA and Byron Kim Badeaux of Carencro, LA; siblings, Verna Lanclos of Port Barre, LA, Marylace Stelly of Opelousas, LA, Patricia Thomasee (Floyd) of Fordoche, LA, Donald Stelly (Velma) of Krotz Springs, LA; sister-in-law, Janice Stelly of Opelousas, LA; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Avie Lanclos, Lee Badeaux and James Callaway; parents, Nolty and Theresa Lalonde Stelly; brothers, Jessy Stelly, Terry Stelly and Norven Stelly; sister, Velma Stoute; daughter-in-law, Carla Badeaux; son-in-law, James LaPointe; sister-in-law, Verna Stelly; brother-in-law’s, Lee Stoute, Royly Lanclos and James Thibodeaux.
