Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Hilda Leger, 85, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating. Visitation in the funeral home chapel will begin on Monday at 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA. Mrs. Leger passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her residence in Morse, LA.
Mrs. Leger is survived by her children, Anna Harvey and her husband, David of Point Blank, TX, Brenda Louviere and her husband, Russell of Morse, LA, Thomas Edward Leger of Morse, LA, Christina Domingue and her husband, Kavin of Breaux Bridge, LA, Kathy Knotts of Morse, LA; thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; three great-great children and another “on the way”.
She was preceded by her husband, Thomas Leger; son, David Shane Leger; daughter, Connie Whitehurst and her parents, Ned LeJeune and Annie Turner LeJeune.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Evans, Scott Leger, Tyler Foster, Sammy Hebert, Donald Comeaux and Nicholas Comeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Kavin Domingue and Russell Louviere.
