Obituary for
Marie Boudreaux (Olivier)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Marie Boudreaux, 80, who passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:43 P.M. at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Old Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Melvin Boudreaux of Church Point; one son, Mark Boudreaux of Church Point; three daughters, Robbie and husband, Don Cobb of Greenville, MS., Cathy and husband, Ricky Guidry of New Roads, LA , Judy Boudreaux of Rayne; five grandchildren, Beau Guidry of Hessmer, La., Dana Cobb of Church Point, Seth Boudreaux of Rayne, Zack Boudreaux of Church Point, and Alex Guidry of New Roads; two great-grandchildren, Amelia Guidry and Emma Guidry.
Mrs. Boudreaux was preceded in death by one son, Michael Boudreaux; her parents, Levin and Rena L. Olivier; one sister, Patty Jagneaux; one brother, Raymond Olivier.
