Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Lonnie P. Murphy, 52, who passed away at his home in Crowley on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 5:10 A.M.
Rev. Jason Corder and Rev. Bruce Runner from Forest Park Church of Christ will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of twenty seven years, Michele P. Murphy of Crowley; two sons, Chase Murphy of Crowley and Brennon Murphy of Crowley; three sisters, Dee Wheaton of Crowley, Donna Murphy of Texas and Janet Raney of San Antonio, TX.; God Children, Kylie Murphy and Colby Murphy both of Crowley; several nieces and nephews; and a special great nephew, Kason Lavergne.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Brenda L. Murphy.
