Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday December 28, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Duson for Mildred Brasseaux Falcon, 88, who passed away on Sunday December 24, 2017. Interment to follow at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson. Father Louis Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Theresa in Duson, will preside over services.

Survived by daughter Dayna Falcon (fiancé Ricky McKey) of Duson; daughter Charlotte Roberts and husband Morgan Roberts of Sandborn, Indiana; grandsons Justin Roberts and Jordan Roberts of Indiana; and sister Emilee B. Thibodeaux of Duson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Nelson Joseph Falcon; her first husband Remi Richard; her brother Berlin Joseph Brasseaux; sister Dolta Brasseaux; and parents Euclide Brasseaux and Aldegon Bergeron Brasseaux.

Mildred was born on October 14, 1929. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Altar Society. She volunteered time to St. Theresa Catholic Church as a religious education teacher and in other capacities.

Special thanks to Betty Mouton and Ricky McKey who cared for Ms. Mildred in her final years.

Visitation will be held at St. Theresa Parish Life Center in Duson on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 3pm – 9pm and on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 8am until time of services.
