Rayne- A Gathering of Remembrance and Celebration of the life of Betty Marie Duhon, 48, will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Interment will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lafayette, LA. Ms. Duhon passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her daughter’s residence in Rayne, LA following a brief illness.
Betty is survived by her children, Barbara Duhon and her husband, Troy Andras, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Danielle Menard and her husband, Keith of Rayne, LA, Clem Duhon and his wife, Vanessa of Montana, Daniel Duhon of Milton, LA. Leola Gauthier and her husband, Tre’ of Lawtell, LA; grandchildren, Breeselynn Andras, Christian Menard, Elijah Menard, Bug Andras, Adelynn Mae Castille, and Ivory Lynn Menard; one sister, Nancy Chairez of Lafayette, LA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Duhon and Gladys LeBlanc Duhon; brother-in-law, Daniel Chairez; sisters, Rose Duhon, Barbara Ann Duhon and Eva Duhon; one brother, Francis Joseph Duhon.
