Rayne- Funeral Services will be held for Junice Doucet Menard, 56, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Deacon Tommy Adams officiating. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery “New” in Rayne, LA. Mrs. Menard passed away at her residence in Rayne, LA on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Mrs. Menard is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Keith A. Menard of Rayne, LA; sons, Brian K. Menard of Fresno, TX, Tim J. Menard of Livingston, TX and Nicholas Paul Menard of Rayne, LA; brother, Norbert Doucet, Jr. of Rayne, LA; sister, Antoinette Doucet of Mire, LA and one grandchild, Soyna Menard of Livingston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert R. Doucet, Sr. and Joyce Dugas Doucet; paternal grandparents, Eulix and Helena Doucet; maternal grandparents, Cozie “Panc” Dugas and Odille Moss Dugas.
Pallbearers will be Luther Dupuis, Wayne Dupuis, Jr., Shawn Lavalley, Jr., Jonathan Stoute, Curtis Dupuis and Richard Stoute. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Menard and Eddie James Menard.
