Obituary for
Deanna Theresa Guidry (Figaro)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne for Deanna Figaro Guidry, 83, who passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 5:55 P.M. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Richard Wagner, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include three daughters, Maebell and husband, Tracy Carter of Rayne, Donna and husband, Freddie Wheeler of Rayne and Quintricia and husband, Yuseff Carpenter of Douglasville, GA; three sons, Xavier and wife, Teresa Harrison of Groton, MA, Anthony and wife, Bobbie Figaro of Bossier City and Clarence Guidry, Jr. of Rayne; four brothers, Oscar Figaro of Landcaster, TX, Carl and wife, Gail Figaro of Philadelphia, PA, Bennett Figaro of Missouri City, Tx, Harrison Figaro of Rayne; four sisters, Waver Figaro of Rayne, Elinora Jones of Willboro, NJ, Fannie Benoit of Seattle, WA and Mayola Clay of Chicago, IL; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Guidry was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Guidry, Sr.; two daughters, Selena Broussard and Mary Katherine Figaro; her parents, Harold and Anita P. Figaro; one sister, Louetta Figaro; two brothers, Thomas Figaro and Donald Figaro.
