Condolences

Condolence From: Annette Loewer Lindsey
Condolence: Ella Mae not only worked for my parents, Arthur and Mary Loewer, she was their loyal, trusted friend. This was evidenced in the daily ritual of morning coffee which she shared with my mother at the breakfast room table as they exchanged news of the day. She celebrated the births of our children with gifts and responded to them when we visited. They all considered time with "Miss Ella Mae" an important part of a visit to South Louisiana. After my parents deaths she became a companion for our aunt, my father's sister, Lydia Loewer Laughlin. We are grateful to have had this remarkable woman as part of our lives and give thanks for her generous, thoughtful manner. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to her family.

Condolence From: Melissa Hall
Condolence: Miss Ella Mae was dear to our family, as she worked for my grandparents, Mary and Arthur Loewer. She displayed such love and care for my grandmother. So many memories of my time at the farm are intertwined with memories of Mis Ella Mae, and bring a smile to my heart. We sympathize with you in your loss and thank God for the legacy she left.

Condolence From: Gregory Loewer
Condolence: Ella Mae was a real treasure, and so special to my family. She worked for my Grozmama, Mary Loewer, for 25 years. She helped take care of each of my grandparents until their passing. A fixture in my grandparents' house and in my childhood memories, she will surely be dearly missed. I shall always be grateful to God for all that Ella Mae did. May God comfort her family and friends, and bless her legacy. Greg Loewer Alexandria, Virginia
