Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Rachelle V. Leger, 47, who passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 1:53 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Clint Trahan will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Istre Cemetery in Mermentau Cove.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Tuesday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Chelsi Leger of Jennings; her parents, Larry and Mary Vincent of Mermentau Cove; one brother, Derek and wife, Catherine Vincent of Mermentau Cove; one sister, Darla and husband, Dale Barrow of Longview, TX; one grandson, Trenten Romero; her Godchildren, Alisha Barrow, Abri Vincent and Paytilyn Tucker.
Rachelle was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Louis Vincent and Florence Monceaux; maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Rose Schexnayder.
