A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Theresa “Marci” Thibodeaux, 79 who passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 8:25 A.M. at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas.
Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Miller of Church Point; one grandson, Andrew P. Miller of Church Point; several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by one son, Michael Joseph Thibodeaux; the father of her children, Bernard Thibodeaux; her parents, Jack and Beatrice Olivier; one sister, Elise Hebert; one brother, Patrick Olivier.
Pallbearers are; Roy Richard, Andrew Miller, Darrel Thibodeaux, Michael Hebert, Christopher Moreaux, and Cody Briscoe.
