Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lillian R. Rabalais, 82, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Duson, LA with Rev. Aaron Melancon as Celebrant. Visitation will be in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until just prior to service time. Entombment will follow the church service and will be in Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery in Plaucheville, LA. Mrs. Rabalais passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Mrs. Rabalais is survived by her children, Roselle LeCorgne and her husband, Lyle of Lafayette, LA, Mary Rabalais of Memphis, TN, Madeline Caruther of Duson, LA, David Rabalais of The Woodlands, TX; three grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Hebert, Sydney Blackburn and Seth Blackburn as well as “her neighborhood kids”.
She was preceded in death by her husband , Stanley Joseph Rabalais; her parents, Opte and Antonia Galliano Rousse; sisters, Rita Galjour and Emelia Grabert; brothers, Lester Rousse, Theo Rousse.
