Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Charles R. Doucet, 70, at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Broussard officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Old Crowley Cemetery in Crowley, LA. Mr. Doucet passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Camelot Place in Rayne, LA.
Mr. Doucet is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jordan of Crowley, LA; two children, Nicky Jordan and his wife, Karen of Crowley, LA, Tracy Goben and her husband, Phillip of Lafayette, LA; five grandchildren, Eric Doucet, Addison Doucet, Nicholas Jordan, Megan “Jane” Jordan and Ryan Jordan;3 great-grandchildren, Carley Hebert, Xayden Doucet and Analicia Jordan; sister, Jean Doucet Norman and her husband, Tom of Church Point, LA; brother, Robert Doucet and his wife, Aline of Iota, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Doucet and Iris Guidry Doucet as well as one sister, Charlene Doucet Gautreaux.
Pallbearers will be Eric Doucet, Addison Doucet, Nicholas Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Nicky Jordan and Phillip Goben.
Mr. Doucet’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Camelot Place; the First Responders, Acadian Ambulance, Crowley Fire Department as well as the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Department for their caring assistance and care for Mr. Doucet and his family.
