Memorial services will be held at a later date for Carolyn Hayes Earles, 66, who died Sunday September 11, 2011 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Survivors include her husband Richard Dennis Earles of Crowley; her son District Judge Kristian and his wife Rene’ Earles of Iota; her four sisters, Connie Fontenot of Indian Bayou, Suzanne and her husband Weldon Konkle of Crowley, Suzette and her husband Ferral Ardoin of Crowley, and Delores and her husband Casey Cryer of Crowley; her brother Julian and his wife Deanna Hayes of Lafayette; and her four grandchildren Krista, Hannah, Aaron, and Brennan Earles.
Mrs. Earles was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Isabelle Leger Hayes.
She was the owner/ operator of the Window Shop, a custom made drapery shop, she loved sailing, fishing, gardening, and sewing with her granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made in her memory to the Acadia Parish Bar Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1983 Crowley La. 70526.
Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley was in charge of arrangements.
