Gloria Fern Johnson
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church Point Pentecostals Church in Church Point for Gloria B. Johnson, 70, who passed away at her home in Duson, surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 12:25 A.M.
Br. Ricky Pavlu, Pastor of The Church Point Pentecostals Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until time of services all at The Church Point Pentecostals Church in Church Point.
Survivors include five daughters, Maggie and husband, Glenn “Blue” Caplin of Deerfield Beach, FL., Tina and husband, Raymond Peter of Gainsville, MO., Tonya and husband, Jose’ Gonzalez of Scott, Terri and husband, Myron Erwin of Duson and Lexy Farris of Duson; one son, John Farris of Nuevo Leon, Mexico; two step sons, Allen and Eddie Johnson both of Virginia; two sisters, Mae Alice Lavespere of Lumberton, TX and Jean Elliot of Leesville, La.; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Billy Ray Farris and her second husband, James L. Johnson; her parents, Willie and Margie S. Behan; two brothers, Wayne and Bill Behan and one sister, Elvie Carpenter.
