Obituary for
Leo "Yo" Breaux
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Leo “Yo” Breaux, 77 who passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 2:45 P.M. at St. Landry Extended Care Hospital in Opelousas.
Deacon Byrne Winn will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Arceneaux Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 8:00 A. M. until time of services.
Survivors include four brothers, James and wife, Debra Breaux of Breaux Bridge, John and wife, Mary Breaux of Lafayette, Louis and wife Geneva Breaux, Jr. of Eunice and Charles and wife, Jeanette Breaux of Richard; one sister, Kathy and husband, Joey Guidry of Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for the services will be Charles, Dalton, Lance, Kevin, John Dale and Eddie Breaux.
Yo is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lenora Breaux, Sr.; his step mother Rose Mae G. Breaux; Two sisters, Judy Boutin and Lena Mae Bourque; one brother, Joseph Delton Breaux.
