Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Chad Anthony Keel, 39, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne, LA with Rev. Richard Wagner as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Rayne, LA. Mr. Keel passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at his Mother’s residence in Rayne, LA.
Mr. Keel is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Brandy Jo Keel of Lafayette, LA; parents, Stoney J. Keel, Sr. and Mary Nero Keel both of Rayne, LA; brothers, Stoney Keel, Jr. and his wife, Shawntrece of Rayne, LA, Kevin Keel and his fiance, Marisa of Rayne, LA; sisters, Danielle Young and her husband, John of Rayne, LA and LaDonna Eaglin of Slidell, LA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clarence LeDay, Jr. and Iris LeDay of Basil, LA; brother-in-law, Clarence LeDay, III and his wife, Daphne of Lake Charles, LA as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Keel, Neil Charles, Clarence LeDay, Jr., Clarence LeDay, III, Cedric Nero and Percy Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be, Stoney Keel, Jr., Elijah Young, Joshua Bazile, Randy Blanchet, Josh Boudreaux and the Rayne High School Class of 1995.
