His GIGANTIC Tomato plant!

I remember so well, the last time we visited Calvin & Della, I told him how I was growing my own heirloom tomatoes from seed. His eyes got SO big and he broke out in a huge grin and told us to "come see." When we got out in the yard, I almost fell down...he had a tomato plant that was so big, it literally had grown up the side of his garage to the roof!

Between that tomato plant, and his gorgeous set up of raised green onion beds...I was so excited to realize that, even though we never saw each other very often...we shared a passion for gardening, That has always meant so much and will always be a wonderful memory I will hold dear in my heart. I hope they serve meatball stew in heaven!
