Donald Paul "Chub" Vallery
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point for, Donald P. “Chub” Vallery, 44, who passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 6:10 P.M. at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Fr. Emmanuel Awe, SSJ, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Old Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services all at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point.
Survivors include his mother, JoeAnn Vallery of Church Point; one sister, Paula Bellard of Church Point; two brother, Hilton and wife, Helena Vallery, Jr. of Cleveland, OH, and Mark Vallery of Church Point; nieces and nephews, Helecia, Joseph, Kenchetta, Curley, Mark, Abby and James; great nieces and nephews, Ava, Shawn, Leah, Ethan and Khloe.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Hilton Joseph Vallery, Sr.; one brother-in-law, James C. “Geboo” Bellard; his maternal grandparents, Lena and Curley Duplechain; his paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Eva Vallery.
