Obituary for Shelton Joseph Abshire

Crowley- Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 for Shelton J. Abshire, 63, in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan, LA with Family and Friends present. Mr. Abshire passed away suddenly on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital in Kaplan, LA.
Mr. Abshire is survived by his daughter, Shena Kaziah of Alabama; parents, Pervis J. Abshire and Gladys Bourque Abshire of Indian Bayou, LA; brother, Jerry Abshire of Indian Bayou, LA; godchild, Jeremy Abshire.
He was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Pamela Abshire.
