A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Basil Catholic Church in Ridge, La. for Myrtline J. Thibodeaux, 78, who passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 8:05 A.M. in Webster, TX.
Fr. Rex Broussard, Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in St. Basil Catholic Church Mausoleum in Ridge.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, at 6:30 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of fifty nine years, Enola M. Thibodeaux of Duson; three sons, Tim and wife, Alice Thibodeaux of Duson, Mike and wife, Sherry Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Ronald and wife, Patty Thibodeaux of Duson; one daughter, Loretta and husband, Joey Cuccio of Duson; eight brothers and six sisters; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by two sons, Nathaniel and Chris Thibodeaux; one daughter, Mary Thibodeaux; his parents, Luke and Lydia L. Thibodeaux; three sisters, Mary Loretta Thibodeaux, Brenella Thibodeaux and Theresa Bertrand.
