Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Murphy P. LeBlanc, 69, who passed away at his home in Duson on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 1:30 A.M.
Deacon Tommy Adams, from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Basil Catholic Church Cemetery in Duson, LA.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 6:30 in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Linda L. LeBlanc of Church Point; two daughters, Roxanne and husband, Chris Thibodeaux of Church Point, Angie L. Morgan of Judice; two sons, Murphy P. LeBlanc, Jr. of Judice and Jeremy LeBlanc of Judice; two sisters, Martha Roy of Judice and Bernice Bowers of Judice; two brothers, Russell LeBlanc of Crowley and Alton LeBlanc, Jr. of Judice; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services will be, Brent Lopez, Ricky Dugas, Cody Campbell, Ian Morgan, Paul LeBlanc, Randy LeBlanc, Kaenon Morgan and Justin LeBlanc. Lectors for the Funeral Services will be Sydnie Morgan and Jamie Labbe.
Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death parents, Alton and Nola B. LeBlanc; one sister, Ethel Mouton; five brothers, Haywood LeBlanc, Donate LeBlanc, Andrew LeBlanc, Dudley LeBlanc and baby LeBlanc.
