A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch for Charles Lee Broussard, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 9:20 A.M. at The Carpenter House in Lafayette.
Fr. Allen Breaux, will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Saturday, at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include four sons, Elvis Broussard of Branch, Steven Broussard of Branch, Ruben and wife, Cristal Broussard of Paradise, TX, Rodney Broussard of Paradise, TX.; three daughters, Janice and husband, Donald Patton of Wyoming, Belinda Broussard of Chico, TX, Sharon and husband, Kurt Turner of Granbury, TX; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Broussard; his parents, Clarence and Ethel Broussard.
