Kaplan- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held for James J. Cloteaux, 77, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Msgr. Jeff DeBlanc officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 11:00 AM until just prior to the service time. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 1:00 PM in the funeral home Chapel. Interment will be at a later date. Mr. Cloteaux passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.
Mr. Cloteaux is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Breaux Cloteaux of Kaplan, LA; one son, Roy “T-Jim” Cloteaux and his wife, Amanda of Crowley, LA; four daughters, Mary Babb of Kaplan, LA, Paulette Mouton and her husband Mark of Kaplan, LA, Natina Hadac of Kaplan, LA, Dorothy “Bebe” Roy and her husband, Galen of Mouton Cove, LA; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gussie Beard of Church Point, LA, Karry Guidroz and her husband, Wedess of Duson, LA.
He was preceded in death his parents, Felicie Breaux and Roy “LouLou” Cloteaux; two sons, Robert Cloteaux and Jerry Cloteaux; two brothers, Murphy Cloteaux and Robert Clostio; one sister, Ruby Mae Cloteaux and one granddaughter, Felicie Cloteaux.
