A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard for Barbara Faul Smith, 66, who passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Acadia St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point surrounded by her family.
Fr. Wayne Duet, Pastor of St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery in Richard.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Tuesday in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Tabitha and husband, Lacy Collins of Raymond, MS; one son, Shane and wife, Kadie Smith of Grovetown, GA; one sister, Elaine Rayon of Church Point; two grandchildren, Brayden Smith of Grovetown, GA, Chelsea and husband, Mitchell Arabie of Fort Stewart, GA; one great-grandson, Cayne Arabie of Fort Stewart, GA.
Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her father, Emery “Black” Faul; her mother, Joyce Bellard; one brother, Gary Faul and one sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Meche.
