Obituary for Patricia Ann Daigle (Trahan)

Patricia Ann Daigle (Trahan)
Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Patricia Trahan Daigle, 66, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA with Rev. Kevin Bordelon as Celebrant. Visitation will be held in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart “Old” Cemetery in Church Point, LA. Mrs. Daigle passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence in Duson, LA.

Patricia was a beloved friend and family member to countless people and gave more to this world than she took with her into the next life. She was a devout Christian and an avid believer in the power of Prayer. In addition to caring extensively for her Mother throughout the latter stages of her Mother’s life, Patricia made it a priority to simply love on people and consistently remind them of their worth. In her spare time, she loved reading, camping, gardening, caring for animals, growing her extensive teapot collection, and spending time with family and friends. Anywhere from the most extended of family members to her treasured friends in the Essential Oils community, words and time fall short in describing her legacy, as it is extensive and will be remembered by all who were blessed to have known her.

Mrs. Daigle is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Barry Daigle of Duson, LA; children, Karen Miller and her husband, Jim of Houston, TX and Robert Miller and his wife, Renee of Youngsville, LA; brothers, Charles Trahan and his wife, Sylvia of Orange, TX and Coral Trahan and his wife, Joy of Washington, TX; three grandchildren, Jakob Miller, David Leudo and Angelique Miller; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna Trahan.
Pallbearers will be Coral Trahan, Charles Trahan, Steven Trahan, Jakob Miller, John Cancienne and Archie Daigle. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Savoy and Patrick Daigle.
