Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Azalie Nicole Meche, 28, who passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:49 A.M. at her home in Branch.
Rev. Micah Collins, Pastor of Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church in Branch will be officiating. Burial will be held in the Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery in Mire.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include her parents, Frank and Becky Meche of Mire; one brother, Frank Meche, II of Mire; one sister, Tiffany Meche of Mire; fiancée, Cyprien Fontenot of Branch; two step daughters, Mckayla and Amya Fontenot both of Branch; her paternal grandparents, Ambrose and Carol Meche of Basile; paternal grandmother, Deanna Guidry of Rayne; her fur babies, Sammy, Opie and Bella.
Nicole was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clifford and Dorothy Cormier.
Pallbearers for the services will be Firefighters, Kerry Richard, Jake Richard, Dustin Miller, Lance Cormier, Craig Denais and Dillion Perredin.
