Rayne- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Authurine Faul Bergeron, 70, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Deacon Bryne Winn officiating. Visitation will begin on Saturday in the funeral home chapel at 9:00 AM until just prior to the service time. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 11:30 am. In the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at a later date in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in Mire, LA. Mrs. Bergeron passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
Mrs. Bergeron is survived by her daughter, Rachel Guthrie and her husband, Brent of Roberts Cove, LA; two sons, Jason Bergeron and Cody Meche both of Mire, LA; three stepsons, Lonnie Meche, Donnie Meche and Chris Meche; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulyses Faul and Edmae Doucet; daughter, Paulette Bergeron and brother, Nelson “Big Joe” Faul.
Pallbearers will be Brent Guthrie, Kyle Guthrie, Davin Meche, Preston Leger, Jason Tressler and Damon Ritchie.
