Duson- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Peggy Broussard Ritter, 82, on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Duhon Funeral Home-Chapel with Deacon Dennis LaCroix officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 8:30 AM; with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM; until service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA. Mrs. Ritter passed away at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA on October 27, 2018.
Mrs. Ritter is survived by her children, Rebecca Mathis of Duson, LA, Wilman Ritter, II of Maurice, LA, Leonard Ritter and his wife, Angela of Duson, LA and Michelle Ritter of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Tracy Thibodeaux, Wendy Mathis, Summer Ritter and Autumn Ritter as well as five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilman Ritter; parents, Insen Broussard and L. E. Carter and Gladys Hebert Carter;
Pallbearers will be Leonard Ritter, Wilman Ritter, II, Jasper Thibodeaux, Jason Thibodeaux, Jasmine Thibodeaux, Carla Mathis.
