Church Point- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Daniel F. Hanks, 53, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard, LA, with Rev. Wayne Duet as Celebrant. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Church Point Chapel at 10:00 AM; with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM; until 10:00 PM and will resume on Thursday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the Mass and will be in St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Richard, LA. Mr. Hanks passed away at his home in Church Point, LA on Friday, December 21, 2018.
Mr. Hanks is survived by his brother, Donald Hanks and his wife, Michelle of Church Point, LA; nieces, Dawna Hanks, Brooke Louviere, Chrystal Faul and Chelsea Thibodeaux; great-nieces, Addison Faul and Chole Faul; great-nephews, Liam Darbonne, Alister Darbonne and Lucas Faul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman J. Hanks and Leola LeJeune Hanks and one sister, Bonnie Hanks.
