Obituary for Alpha Trahan
Church Point- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Alpha Trahan, 75, at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home- Church Point Chapel with Pere’ Rozas as Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 AM until just prior to the service time. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 PM on Monday. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Leger Cemetery in Rayne, LA. Mr. Trahan passed on Friday, March 1, 2019.
Mr. Trahan is survived by one sister, Rita Harvey of Sulphur, LA; brothers, Gladys Trahan of Lafayette, LA, Norman Trahan and his wife, Velma of Church Point, LA as well a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Toville Trahan and Avenia Leger Trahan; seven brothers and four sisters.
