Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Peggy Brasseaux, 68, who passed away on March 5, 2019, at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Pastor Berl Adam, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include her mother, Lorris V. Brasseaux of Church Point; two brothers, Roger Brasseaux of T-Mamou, Joe and wife, Shannon Brasseaux of New Iberia; one sister, Juanita and husband, John Brown of Crowley; nieces and nephews, Ryan Brasseaux, Alisha Brasseaux, Jenna Brasseaux, Kylie Brasseaux, Hannah Perez, McKae Cheramie, Devin Martin, Joslyn Brown, Jadyn Brown, Ashlyn Brown, and Devon Brown.
Ms. Brasseaux was preceded in death by her father, Leo Brasseaux; one sister-in-law, Laura Faye Brasseaux.
