Obituary for Wilson John Saltzman
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Wilson J. Saltzman, 71, who passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:32 P.M. at Lafayette General hospital in Lafayette.
Br. Donovan Royer will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 9:30 A. M. until time of services in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie and husband, Carmichael Williams of Welsh, Tammy and husband, Clint Fruge of Welsh; one sister, Velta and husband, P.J. Miller of Crowley; three brothers, E.J. and wife, “Shelby” Saltzman of Crowley, Thomas and wife, Linda Mire of Crowley, Raywood and wife, Ella Hargrave of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Charlene Saltzman of Waxahachie, TX; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Saltzman was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua and Kevin Saltzman; his step father, Joseph L. Mire and his mother, Mildred Meaux Mire; his biological father, Watson J. Saltzman; two brothers, Kernis Paul Saltzman and Winston Saltzman.
