Obituary for Leota Bergeron (Beaugh)
Church Point- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Leota Beaugh Bergeron, 101, at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA with Rev. Austin Leger as Celebrant. Visitation will be held in the Duhon Funeral Home-Church Point Chapel on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 PM and will resume on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the mass and will be in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Cemetery “Old” in Church Point, LA. Mrs. Bergeron passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Acadia St Landry Hospital in Church Point, LA.
Mrs. Bergeron is survived by her son, Harold Bergeron and his wife, Norma of Many, LA; one daughter, Bobbie Richard and her husband, Ricky of Church Point, LA; grandchildren, Ricky Bergeron and his wife, Candice of Sulphur, LA, Joey Bergeron and his wife, Chris of Sulphur, LA, Patty Dommert and her husband, Craig of Sulphur, LA, Jr. Bergeron and his wife, Nicole of Eunice, LA, Renee Day and her husband, Byron of Vidor, TX, Barry Bergeron of Sulphur, LA, Pam Heard and her husband, Terry of Sulphur, LA, Josh Richard and his wife, Sarah of Church Point, LA; 18 great-grandchildren: 23 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Edith Bergeron from Sulphur and Lois Bergeron also of Sulphur, LA.
She was preceded in death her husband, John D. Bergeron; parents, Lucien Beaugh and Ida Latiolais Beaugh; two sons, Robert Bergeron and Patrick Bergeron and one sister, Angel Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Bergeron, Jr. Bergeron, Joey Bergeron, Barry Bergeron, Josh Richard and Ricky Richard.
