Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Hubert P. Rougeau, Sr., 77, who passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. at his home surrounded by family in Church Point.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Hanks Cemetery in Morse.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon and husband, Richard Thibodeaux of Church Point; one grandson, Blaine and wife, Brandy Thibodeaux of St. Martinville; three great-grandchildren, McKenna, Karter, and Kaylie Thibodeaux all of St. Martinville; four brothers, Charlie and wife, Delores Rougeau of Egan, Bobby and wife, Vivian Rougeau of Kaplan, Irby and wife, Pauline Rougeau of Alexandria, Lee and wife, Charlene Rougeau of Eunice; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rougeau was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Rougeau; one son, Hubert P. “BoZo” Rougeau, Jr.; his parents, Charles, Sr. and Bernice Guillory Rougeau; one sister, Mary Rougeau Matt; three brothers, Harry Rougeau, Marcus Rougeau, John Nick Rougeau, Sr.
